Moving is hell. You’re surrounded by boxes, your spine hurts, and your sanity is halfway out the window. Then the moving company asks, “How many cubic feet is your stuff?” And you realize… you’ve made it this far in life and still don’t know. Glorious.

💀 What Are Cubic Feet?

Cubic feet (cu ft) measure how much space your possessions take up. Or put another way: how big of a truck coffin you’ll need to bury your broken IKEA furniture, haunted mattress, and collection of life mistakes.

🧮 The Grim Math

Cubic Feet = Length × Width × Height

Use feet. Not inches. If you’re stuck in imperial chaos, divide those inches by 12. Yes, it’s annoying. So is everything else today.

Example: Sacrifice Your Couch

• Length: 84″ → 84 ÷ 12 = 7 ft
• Width: 36″ → 36 ÷ 12 = 3 ft
• Height: 30″ → 30 ÷ 12 = 2.5 ft
• Total: 7 × 3 × 2.5 = 52.5 cu ft
